I have sensitive skin; would the micro/peel be too much for my skin type?
We have mild forms of AHA acids that are suitable for even the most sensitive skin types that help to treat and reduce sensitivities and balance the skin.
How many days prior to an event should I have my peel?
We have “red carpet” treatments that will have you looking event ready! For deeper treatments we recommend 7-14 prior to the event.
What is the down time after having a micro peel?
Generally speaking, there is no downtime unless we use a deeper acid in which 5-7 days’ downtime. This is always discussed at length before it is given otherwise minor superficial scratches can appear that vanish within a few days’ time. Mostly bright, even, refreshed skin is to be expected!
What is the down time to having a Glo2 Facial?
Typically, there is no downtime with the Glo2 Facial. On rare occasions clients have experienced minor redness, scratches, and bruising.
If I am having an event the same day, can I get a peel?
Yes. Our Pro-5 and Lactic acid are perfect for any same day event.
If getting Botox, how long do I have to wait to get a facial?
Botox should be done after a facial or at least 3-4 days’ after
I am pregnant, is it safe for me to get a chemical peel?
We recommend consulting your physician but we regularly apply our Pro5 and lactic acid on women who are pregnant.
I am African American/Black; will a micro peel be safe for my skin?
Absolutely. Even the darkest skin tone can receive our treatments. If we ever want to go deeper than usual, this is when we would have to prep the skin.
I just got a sunburn from being at the beach this weekend, is it still safe for me to get the micro peel today?
Depends on how severe the burn is. We recommend either coming in to be evaluated or send pictures. If a professional decides it is significant, you will be rescheduled to the next available appointment.
How soon can I go out into the sun after a peel?
It is recommended to wait an average of 5-7 days. Always wear sun protection and protective gear.
I have cystic acne; will the microdermabrasion inflame my acne?
No, it will actually do the opposite. It will remove the buildup of dead skin in and around the blemish allowing for oxygen and topical to penetrate.

I am on Accutane, is it safe for me to get a micro peel? How soon can I get treatment?
We recommend more therapeutic treatments that nourish and hydrate the skin while on Accutane.
I had a scab develop after my peel, is it going to scar?
Very rarely do scabs leave scars after treatment and may be darkening of the dead skin that is about to peel off. Keep protected with sunscreen and follow recommended home care instructions to ensure proper healing.
How soon will I see results?
You will see immediate improvement with your complexion and texture. To see more permanent corrective results, you need 3-6 treatments every 2-4 weeks and maintenance for ongoing results.
Isn’t it too abrasive to get a chemical peel every month for my skin?
Treatments are superficial to medium depth and are safe to have on a regular consistent basis.
How often should I get a facial?
Depending on what kind of correction is needed and how fast you want to see results is how we determine frequency. Generally, every 2-4 weeks.
How much will I peel after a chemical peel?
You may experience mild to moderate flaking with our salicylic or Jessner and little to no peeling with any AHA peels (glycolic, lactic, Pro5).
What can be expected with a Jessner Peel?
The skin will tighten, and on or around the second day, you will begin to peel around the mouth and outwards from there for about 2-3 days.
What is the cost of your treatments?
We have intro rates for first-time guests starting at $99 and recurring monthly rates starting at $149.
What is the difference between a facial and a micro-peel?
You receive a micro peel during your facial. Our treatments include cleanse, tone, microdermabrasion with chemical peel option, mask with massage, and facial serums to finish up. You leave looking refreshed and polished.
Can I use retin-A while receiving treatments?
We recommend letting your esthetician know and discontinuing 3-7 days prior. We can still perform the treatment but will go on the gentlest setting. You may experience some mild flaking a few days following any treatments if on prescription strength Retin-A.
Can I freeze my membership?
For a fee of $20, you may freeze your membership and be grandfathered into your membership price.
